Privacy policy
IO Stakes keeps one thing about your visit: a line in a server log. The sections below say what that line holds, how long it stays, where the server sits and what is still undecided. The IO Stakes research team wrote this policy from what the site's server actually does.

What the site collects
IO Stakes is a guide, not a game or a casino. It takes no bets, holds no money and has no user accounts.
What it does record comes from how the web works. Each time your browser asks for a page, the server answers, and the server software (nginx) writes one line to an access log, which is a plain record of requests. The line uses nginx's default combined format and holds:
- your IP address (the number that identifies your internet connection)
- the date and time
- the page requested
- the response status and size (whether the page was sent, and how large it was)
- the referring page (the page you came from, where your browser reports it)
- your browser's user agent string (the browser's own description of itself)
How long it keeps them
The log is rotated daily, which means the current file is closed and a new one started. Rotated files are kept for 14 rotations and then deleted, so a line lasts about 14 days.
The logs are used to keep the site running and secure, which means spotting errors and abuse. They are not used for analytics or advertising. The logs are shared with no one and stay on the server.

Where the site is hosted
The site is hosted in Germany, on the factory server (Hostinger KVM 4).
Fonts, scripts and third parties
Fonts are served from the site's own server, not from Google Fonts, so your browser does not contact a font provider to draw a page. The only third-party logo is MyStake's. It is shown as an image from the site's own server, and no request goes to MyStake.
A short inline script (code written into the page itself) works the phone menu. The Viper Royale guide and the fees page also carry a small inline script for their calculators. None of these scripts makes a request or stores anything.
The owner recorded on 30 September that the site uses no analytics. That statement is still to be confirmed by a browser check of this site before launch.
Your rights and who is responsible
A data controller is the person or organisation that decides how personal data is used and answers for it. IO Stakes has not decided who that is, and the legal entity behind the site is not decided either. Privacy questions go to info@iostakes.co.uk.
If you think we are wrong
If a fact on this page is wrong, write to info@iostakes.co.uk. The date in the byline shows when the page was last updated.
