Money Slither review
Money Slither is a real-money snake game in which you play against other people. The operator takes a cut when you cash out and keeps the key to the wallet your balance sits in.
Our team tests the games and checks every fact on this page against the game's terms.

What Money Slither is
How a round plays
A stake is the money you put in to enter a round. Money Slither calls each room a lobby, and each lobby has a fixed stake. You steer a snake with the mouse and eat food dots to grow. Holding left click or the spacebar boosts your speed, but boosting spends some of your size.
You eliminate another snake by making it run into your body. A snake that dies drops its balance into the arena as food and money for others to collect. The more a player has collected, the more they are worth when eliminated.
Formats
Standard PvP (player against player) runs at every stake. Battle Royale is a shrinking-map mode, and Bounty is a third mode. Periodic events such as Money Rain run on top of these.
The skill claim
The provider says the game is decided by skill: every player in a lobby has the same physics and win conditions, with no house snake and no random draw. That is the provider's claim, and no independent test of it is named.
Size of the player base
The leaderboard counted 7,817 players and global player winnings stood at $69001.93 when we read the home page.
Who runs Money Slither
MoneySlither names itself as the Company that operates the website and the game. No company registration number or address is printed, and no licence or regulator is named. Legality is left to the player.
The terms took effect on 12 February 2026 and were last updated on 10 September 2026. The agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. Support is by email, and most concerns are meant to be settled that way. Otherwise disputes go to binding arbitration under AAA rules, on an individual basis with no class actions. Disputes under $12,500 can go to small claims court in San Francisco.
What Money Slither costs to play
Entry
Three fixed lobbies are offered: $1, $10 and $100, each on a US server and an EU server. The stakes are priced in dollars and funded with SOL, the currency of the Solana network. Lobbies may carry different entry fees, and the parameters are binding once you enter.
What it keeps
A rake is the cut a game keeps before anyone is paid. Here the cut is a fee of 10% of the total amount you cash out, taken at the moment you cash out. It is worked out on the whole amount, not only on profit, so a cash-out that merely returns your stake still loses 10%.
Our own arithmetic from the rule as printed: cash out $10.00 and the fee is $1.00, so $9.00 reaches you. If you are eliminated you forfeit the stake and no separate fee is charged. The rate can change, and the rate shown in the lobby when you enter is the one that applies.
Other charges
The shop sells skins, colours and accessories, which are cosmetic. The send-money panel holds back $0.20 for transaction fees. No other fee is listed. Players can also link a Discord account to claim rewards and rebates. For this fee next to other games, see Real-money slither game fees compared.
How you cash out of Money Slither
Cashing out means taking the money you hold in a round back to your wallet instead of risking it further. These are the withdrawal conditions:
Hold the cash-out button (the Q key) while your snake is alive.
Stay alive for a few seconds while the cash-out processes.
The winnings are sent to your connected Solana wallet.
A player with a balance can also cash out from the lobby screen. No multiple of the entry has to be reached, and no minimum survival time is given. There is no figure for withdrawal limits, and the platform reserves the right to implement cash-out restrictions.
What you can lose
- No outcome is promised, including the return of any amount you stake.
- Cheating, teaming or doxxing: a permanent ban and all funds in the balance and the associated wallet forfeited in full.
- More than one account: all accounts are ended and all balances forfeited.
- Verification: if requested information is not supplied in time, the account may be suspended and funds forfeited.
- Review: an account or balance may be frozen while suspicious activity is investigated.

How the money is held
Custodial means a company holds funds for you and you depend on it to pay them out. Money Slither works this way. Each account gets its own Solana wallet address, but MoneySlither generates the private key, stores it encrypted on its servers and signs every transfer. You are never given the key, and your balance is a claim against MoneySlither.
When you enter a lobby, your stake moves from your wallet address to a MoneySlither operating wallet for the length of the game. The result is settled back to your balance, less the fee. MoneySlither's own game servers decide the outcome. A smart contract, a program on the blockchain that holds and pays out funds by fixed rules, plays no part.
The home page FAQ says deposits and withdrawals go through smart contracts, and the legitimacy page says "your wallet, your keys". Both conflict with the terms.
Deposits are credited once the Solana network confirms them, usually within a few seconds, and you sign in with Google. Withdrawals are signed and sent by MoneySlither at your request and cannot be reversed once sent, so the address you give is your responsibility.
The platform is beta software and may contain errors, bugs and unforeseen issues that could affect gameplay and assets. The liability of MoneySlither is capped at the greater of the fees you paid or $100.

Where Money Slither can be played
No casino carrying the game is named. It works in mobile browsers, and landscape is recommended. Game servers are available in Chicago (US) and Nuremberg (EU), with Singapore (Asia) listed as coming soon. A maintenance notice was up on the home page on 15 October 2026.
Age and eligible places
You must be at least 18, physically located in an Eligible Location for real-money play, and not previously banned. No list of Eligible Locations is printed and no blocked country or region is named. MoneySlither can change the locations at any time at its sole discretion, and location information is collected to check compliance. Using a VPN counts as cheating. An account can be deleted at any time by emailing support.
Questions
Is Money Slither legit?
This page gives no verdict. No licence or regulator is named, and the operator holds the funds and decides each result on its own servers.
How much does Money Slither take?
A tenth of whatever you cash out, profit or not. Elimination carries no fee, because the stake is already lost.
Who holds my money on Money Slither?
The company. It keeps the wallet's key and signs every transfer, so you rely on it to pay out.
Can I cash out less than my whole balance?
The pages we read do not say whether part of a balance can be taken out.
Can I play Money Slither with a VPN?
No. VPN use is listed as cheating, which carries a permanent ban and loss of the funds held.
